How to read a price candle
This article is in English.
A candle compresses one period of trading into four prices. The open is the first trade of the period. The close is the last. The high and low are the extremes in between. The body is the distance between open and close. The wicks are the extremes that the body does not cover.
A tall body means the period ended far from where it started. A long wick means price travelled and came back. Neither shape tells you what the next period will do. Costs, gaps and the size of your order are not drawn on the candle.
On this website, charts that are marked simulated are samples. They are there so you can see the layout. They are not a live feed and not a signal.
