Who we are

Scope

This notice covers the marketing website, the web app when it is enabled, the iOS app (⁦com.race.ios⁩), the Android app (⁦com.race.trade⁩), desktop downloads, and support messages. Store privacy labels summarise the app build and should be read with this notice. If they ever disagree, contact us and we will correct the inconsistency.

Data we collect

Account and contact data: name, email, phone if you give it, country, and identity documents if you apply for live access.

Device and usage data: device model, operating system, app version, language, IP address, approximate location derived from it, and pages or screens you use.

Trading and support data: watchlists, paper-trading activity, live orders and positions if enabled, and messages you send us.

Payment data: if you pay through Apple or Google we receive a transaction id, product id, price, currency and country. We do not receive your full card number from the store. We do not take card numbers on this marketing site.

How we use data

We use data to provide the service, secure accounts, meet law, answer support, improve the product, and send service messages. Optional product notes are sent only if you ask for them, and you can stop them by email.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use this marketing site to make a personal investment recommendation.

Permissions

Notifications: only after you allow them, for alerts you opt into.

Camera: only if you choose to photograph a document for an identity check.

Biometrics: Face ID, fingerprint or the platform equivalent stays on the device. We receive a yes or no from the operating system, not the biometric template.

You can refuse a permission. Some features then will not work. Refusal does not by itself close the account.

Sharing

We share data with processors who host, send email, check identity, or support customers, under contract. If analytics are configured and you accept analytics cookies, we may use Google Analytics 4, Plausible or Sentry. They stay off unless both are true.

We may share information with professional advisers, with authorities when the law requires it, with a buyer if the business is sold, and with Apple or Google for store billing. We do not sell personal information as a commodity.

International transfers

Data may be processed in the United Arab Emirates and in other countries where our providers operate. Where the law requires a safeguard for a transfer, we use contracts and organisational measures appropriate to that transfer.

Retention

We keep account data for the life of the account and for a further period needed for law, disputes or security. Support messages are kept long enough to resolve the issue and any follow-up. Server logs are kept for a shorter security window. Marketing contacts are kept until you opt out or ask for deletion.

Your rights and account deletion

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export personal data, and to object to certain uses. Email ⁦[email protected]⁩ to use them. You may also complain to a data protection authority where you live.

To delete the account: in the iOS or Android app open Settings, then Account, then Delete account, and confirm. You can also email ⁦[email protected]⁩ from the address on the account with the subject “Delete my account”. We aim to complete a verified request within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep a record.

Deleting the app or the account does not cancel an Apple or Google subscription. Cancel that in the store settings. Store records of a purchase may remain with Apple or Google under their own rules.

Children

The services are for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have, email ⁦[email protected]⁩ and we will delete it.

Security

We design for encryption in transit, limited staff access and account controls such as two-factor sign-in. No method is perfect. Use a unique password and the second factor when it is offered.

Cookies

The website uses essential cookies and, only if you accept them, analytics cookies. The cookie policy explains the banner. The mobile apps use the permissions above rather than browser cookies.

Store privacy labels

Apple’s app privacy label and Google Play’s data safety form describe categories such as contact info, identifiers, purchases and diagnostics for the build you install. They are summaries. This notice is the longer explanation. Account deletion is available in the app and by email, which those stores require us to offer.

Changes

We will post changes on this page with a new date. For a material change we will also place a notice on the site or send email.
